Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street cleaning, debris removal, and litter collection in public rights-of-way.
- Operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, rollers, and sweepers under supervision.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter storms to ensure public safety.
- Load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies at various job sites.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations and protocols.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery used in daily operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License required (Class C).
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Willingness to participate in a paid training program to learn specific trade skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory and material tracking.
