Responsibilities
- Perform infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, sidewalk construction, and park upkeep
- Operate light machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Participate in emergency response during natural disasters
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities
- Follow OSHA and city safety regulations strictly
- Assist in traffic control and work zone setup
- Maintain accurate work records and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- No felony convictions (background check required)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to various work sites
