Responsibilities
- Operate light to heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks, sweepers) under supervision
- Perform street maintenance, park upkeep, and infrastructure repairs Adhere to OSHA safety standards and emergency response protocols
- Assist in stormwater management and flood control operations
- Participate in disaster response and community service initiatives
- Maintain accurate logs of work activities and equipment usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid California driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and emergencies
- Basic math and measurement skills

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions
