Responsibilities
- Perform General Maintenance: Assist in the cleaning, sweeping, and grading of public streets and sidewalks.
- Operate Equipment: Learn to safely operate light to heavy machinery and construction tools under supervision.
- Traffic Control: Set up and monitor traffic signs, cones, and flagging operations to ensure worker and public safety.
- Infrastructure Support: Assist in the repair and maintenance of roads, curbs, and storm drains.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials at job sites.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- License: Valid Florida Driver’s License is required.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided.
- Attitude: Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
