Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and drainage system upkeep
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors safely and efficiently
- Assist in construction projects including bridge inspections, park renovations, and utility installations
- Ensure all work areas meet OSHA safety standards and maintain proper signage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines and resource allocation
- Report infrastructure concerns and document work progress accurately
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
