Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, sweepers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Document field activities and submit digital reports remotely
- Collaborate with supervisors on project planning and scheduling
- Respond to emergency public works calls as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment safety
- Strong digital literacy for remote reporting tasks
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- 1+ years construction/public works experience preferred
