- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely per OSHA standards
- Conduct site inspections and document maintenance activities digitally
- Collaborate remotely with engineering teams on project planning
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance logs through our mobile portal
- Respond to emergency weather-related public works tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Experience with heavy machinery (excavators, loaders)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong digital communication skills for remote coordination
- 1+ years in public works or construction
