Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, trenching, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate light equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers safely and efficiently
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage system repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites in compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily project goals on schedule
- Inspect and maintain assigned equipment/tools to ensure optimal performance
- Document work activities and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
- Experience with construction tools, heavy machinery operation, or public works preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in team settings
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States
