Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscaping
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders) under supervision
- Maintain public spaces, roads, and drainage systems
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Assist in emergency storm response and disaster recovery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Florida Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality record
- Ability to obtain required certifications (provided)
