Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for road maintenance, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Operate hand/power tools (shovels, saws, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in construction site setup, cleanup, and material handling
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible hours
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards preferred
