Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, dump trucks) safely
- Assist in stormwater management and snow removal operations
- Complete daily digital reports via remote portal during off-site hours
- Collaborate with supervisors on project planning and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety protocols
- Participate in community beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification within 90 days of hire
- Proficient with digital reporting tools (remote-friendly)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
