Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and asphalt/concrete repair
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, trenchers, dump trucks) with proper certification
- Assist in storm drain cleaning, sewer line maintenance, and flood prevention
- Maintain parks, trails, and public grounds (mowing, landscaping, debris removal)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with crews on infrastructure improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma Class A or B CDL license
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- Certification in heavy equipment operation (OSHA 10/30 training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of blueprints and survey markers
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
