Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely (trucks, loaders, graders)
- Respond to emergency weather-related repairs
- Assist in park and green space upkeep
- Follow OSHA and city safety protocols
- Complete work orders with digital reporting
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams
Qualifications
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Flexible schedule including weekends/emergencies
