Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Maintain public infrastructure such as roads, sidewalks, and parks
- Operate heavy machinery safely (bulldozers, graders, dump trucks)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with crew members on construction projects
- Report maintenance issues and assist with emergency repairs
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
- Teamwork and communication skills
