Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving operations.
- Operate and maintain a variety of heavy and light construction equipment safely.
- Assist in the installation and repair of public infrastructure such as sidewalks, curbs, and storm drains.
- Clear snow and ice from public roads and parking lots during winter months.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload construction materials and tools as directed by supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and project managers to ensure project efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience with hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work well within a team environment.
- Must be reliable and available for overtime and weekend shifts during peak seasons.
