Responsibilities
- Assist in construction and maintenance of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision
- Perform material handling and site preparation tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and department procedures
- Participate in stormwater management and erosion control
- Maintain clean and organized work sites
- Complete daily equipment inspections and reports
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
