Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage projects, and park infrastructure
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain clean work sites
- Participate in paid training sessions for technical skills development
- Support emergency response during weather-related incidents
- Complete daily maintenance reports and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C or higher)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- No felony convictions (background check required)
- Willingness to complete paid training program (4-8 weeks)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Commitment to punctuality and team collaboration
- Physical stamina for 8-hour shifts with frequent standing/walking
