Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscape maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in road repair, drainage system maintenance, and park upkeep
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Participate in stormwater management and erosion control projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient project completion
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida driver's license (Class E)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- No felony convictions (background check required)
- Commitment to completing the full 12-week training program
