Responsibilities
- Maintain city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks, graders)
- Perform preventative infrastructure inspections
- Respond to emergency service calls (24/7 rotation)
- Coordinate with engineering and utility teams
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety standards
- Document maintenance activities in digital systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL Class B license (required)
- 2+ years heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Valid Arizona driver's license (clean record)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Pass background check and physical exam
- Spanish bilingual preferred
