Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including snowplows, graders, and asphalt spreaders
- Conduct routine inspections and safety compliance checks
- Coordinate emergency response during weather events or infrastructure failures
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in municipal maintenance or construction
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and physical stamina
- Pass background check and drug screening
