Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment (street sweepers, trucks, etc.)
- Perform preventive maintenance on municipal facilities
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs
- Conduct safety inspections and compliance checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California Driver's License
- 2+ years equipment maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
