Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair municipal roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including snowplows, graders, and trenchers
- Perform preventative maintenance on parks and recreational facilities
- Respond to emergency weather events and natural disasters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Document maintenance activities and submit comprehensive reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B)
- 3+ years experience in public works or construction maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
