Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities, parks, and streets
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., trucks, tractors, mowers) safely and efficiently
- Conduct inspections and repairs on public infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project coordination
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during off-hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of maintenance or construction experience
- Valid California Class C driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Certification in heavy equipment operation or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
