Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and alleys.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and backhoes.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Maintain parks, green spaces, and municipal buildings.
- Respond to emergency service calls and citizen inquiries regarding public works issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driverβs License (CDL) is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
