Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Operate heavy machinery, including dump trucks, front-end loaders, and mowers, safely and efficiently.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables in compliance with environmental standards.
- Inspect public infrastructure for safety hazards and report findings to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and work area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Arizona Class D Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Strong commitment to public service and community safety.
- Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance equipment is a plus.
