Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures
- Optimize quantum circuits for AI workloads on hardware platforms like Rigetti and IBM Quantum
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI tasks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum advantage for deep learning and NLP
- Create technical documentation and publish peer-reviewed research
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Proven experience implementing quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
