Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development and testing
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit scalability and coherence improvements
- Create quantum software frameworks compatible with future quantum processors
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant computing roadmap
