Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and simulation applications
- Design and execute experimental quantum computing protocols using advanced hardware
- Publish peer-reviewed research and secure intellectual property in quantum computing
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists, computer scientists, and engineers
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop commercial quantum applications
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing scalability beyond 2026
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private entities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
