Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms with error correction protocols for 2026 deployment
- Simulate quantum systems using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Present findings at Davos Tech Summit and MIT Future Conferences
- Drive patent portfolio expansion (target: 15+ patents/year)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion processors
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review X
- Proficiency in quantum programming (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to secure NSF/DARPA funding
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Published work on quantum supremacy benchmarks
