As a key member of our Future Technologies division, you'll work on scalable quantum architectures, error correction protocols, and hybrid quantum-classical frameworks. Your contributions will directly impact fields ranging from drug discovery to climate modeling, positioning Nexus Labs as the industry leader in post-classical computing.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Develop error mitigation strategies for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
