Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with hardware and software teams
- Publish research in IEEE journals and present at international conferences
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Proficiency in Python/C++ and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to work with cryogenic systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental results
