Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error correction protocols to ensure system stability.
- Algorithm Development: Develop and optimize hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and optimization.
- System Integration: Integrate quantum hardware with classical control systems to create seamless, unified computing platforms.
- R&D Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to push the boundaries of qubit coherence and processing speed.
- Scalability Strategy: Define the roadmap for scaling quantum systems from experimental lab environments to cloud-based deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum computing, superconducting circuits, or photonic quantum systems.
- Tools: Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Mathematics: Deep understanding of linear algebra, complex numbers, and quantum mechanics principles.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for stakeholders.
