  • Configure and troubleshoot remote access solutions (VPN, RDP, Citrix) for federal and state employees.
  • Enforce compliance with federal and state cybersecurity protocols, including patch management and vulnerability assessments.
  • Document technical incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in the Knowledge Base.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve complex hardware and software issues escalated from the Help Desk.
  • Assist in the migration and maintenance of legacy government systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering.
  • Experience working in a government or highly regulated environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary government security clearance.
  • Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (e.g., Friday to Sunday).
