Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate digital and physical court records with meticulous attention to detail
- Process filings, warrants, and legal documents with precision and timeliness
- Provide remote and in-person assistance to attorneys, litigants, and court personnel
- Coordinate with judges and judicial staff for hearing preparations and documentation
- Implement and maintain record-keeping systems compliant with Texas statutes
- Manage digital archives and ensure secure data storage protocols
- Occasionally appear at Nueces County Courthouse for essential in-person duties
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; paralegal certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years court administration or legal records management experience
- Proficient in document management systems (e.g., FileNet, OnBase)
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage complex workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities for legal documentation
- Knowledge of Texas court procedures and judicial terminology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote environment
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional courthouse visits
