Responsibilities
- Perform on-site infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, sidewalk installations, and storm drain inspections
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct remote project documentation via digital platforms including photo logs and progress reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using virtual communication tools
- Adhere to OSHA/MNOSHA safety protocols during all field operations
- Participate in emergency response deployments during severe weather events
- Maintain equipment logs and inventory through remote digital systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience or relevant military background
- Valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficient in digital documentation tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
- OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with remote troubleshooting capabilities
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work in the US
