Responsibilities
- Collect residential and commercial refuse according to scheduled routes
- Operate sanitation trucks and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform street cleaning and snow removal operations as needed
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and businesses
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid New York State Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and flexible shifts
