Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for training and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Optimize model inference latency and throughput for high-volume production environments.
- Conduct cutting-edge research on advanced NLP techniques, including RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) and distillation.
- Collaborate closely with product engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into consumer-facing applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, establishing best practices for AI model development and deployment.
- Monitor model performance, drift, and security in real-time to ensure reliability.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in transformer architectures and deep learning to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, with a deep understanding of deep learning frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of shipping high-impact AI products to market.
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Seldon) and model serving infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
