Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end policy development process, from initial research to final implementation.
- Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare high-level briefing papers and ministerial correspondence.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including third-sector organizations and local authorities.
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and impact assessments for new government initiatives.
- Ensure all outputs comply with UK Government standards and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a policy analysis, government relations, or public sector role.
- Undergraduate degree (2:1 or higher) in a relevant subject such as Public Policy, Economics, Law, or Social Sciences.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret statistical data and research findings.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience drafting formal government documentation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of the UK public sector landscape and civil service values is highly desirable.
