Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection and incident response for federal systems in the Pacific Northwest region
- Develop and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols for critical infrastructure protection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks
- Collaborate with FBI, NSA, and other federal agencies on joint security operations
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to cybersecurity policy development
- Stay current with emerging threats through continuous research and training
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required (federal position)
- 5+ years experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Experience with NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Strong knowledge of network security, SIEM tools, and incident response protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
