Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop and implement incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST 800-53, and CMMC requirements
- Lead security awareness training programs for federal employees
- Document security policies and procedures in accordance with federal standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security, incident response, and threat analysis
- Proficiency in security tools: SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and forensic tools
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and federal compliance requirements
- Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret preferred)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
