Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Lead incident response for security breaches across state networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies and compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with state/federal government experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and FISMA compliance
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, PowerShell)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
