Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment, mitigation, and remediation of cybersecurity risks across enterprise systems.
- Oversee compliance with federal regulations including NIST SP 800-171 and FedRAMP standards.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats.
- Manage security incidents and coordinate response efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for staff and leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and recommend proactive security measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI access.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, incident response, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes government environment.
