Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Lead incident response coordination for cyber threats affecting critical infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network assets
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Collaborate with cross-agency partners on threat intelligence sharing
- Manage security monitoring tools and SIEM operations
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and CUI regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with federal/government experience required
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expert knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, and CUI frameworks
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight) and network security tools
- Valid U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
