Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Lead incident response operations during security breaches
- Develop and maintain security awareness training programs
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and DHS security standards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies on cyber investigations
- Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expert knowledge of network security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
