Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights for state policy development
- Design and implement automated reporting systems using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Collaborate with department heads to translate data requirements into technical solutions
- Maintain data integrity and security protocols aligned with state and federal regulations
- Present findings to executive leadership through visual dashboards and executive summaries
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practice documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis with proficiency in SQL and Python
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Oklahoma state government data systems and reporting requirements
- Certification in data governance or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CDPSE) preferred
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and ETL processes
