Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data analysis and modeling to support federal program evaluation and strategic initiatives.
- Design and maintain complex dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI for executive leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data privacy standards, OMB guidelines, and VA security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Prepare detailed briefing materials and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance data literacy across the department.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Administration, or a related field (Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience may be considered).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis within a federal, state, or large-scale government environment.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of the Federal Data Strategy and privacy regulations (FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.
