Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level customer support for DMV-related inquiries including driver licenses, vehicle registration, and title services
- Process transactions accurately using proprietary DMV software systems while maintaining strict compliance with state regulations
- Resolve escalated customer issues with empathy and professionalism, achieving 95%+ satisfaction rates
- Train and mentor junior representatives on DMV procedures and customer service best practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of all customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery workflows
- Stay current with California DMV policy changes and implement updates promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience with 1+ years in DMV or government services
- Proficiency in DMV-specific software systems (e.g., CA DMV STAR system)
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to handle sensitive client situations
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining 99% accuracy
