Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental compliance programs for industrial facilities
- Analyze complex environmental data using GIS and statistical modeling tools
- Coordinate with state agencies, local governments, and community stakeholders
- Prepare technical reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Oversee field investigations and enforcement actions for regulatory violations
- Mentor junior staff and train public sector partners on environmental regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of environmental regulatory experience in California
- Advanced certification in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
- Proficiency with environmental modeling software (e.g., AERMOD, WQX)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Demonstrated experience with NEPA and CEQA compliance processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for public presentations
