Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide environmental compliance programs
- Conduct site inspections and pollution source investigations
- Prepare regulatory reports and environmental impact statements
- Coordinate with state/federal agencies on environmental initiatives
- Lead community outreach on sustainability best practices
- Analyze environmental data using GIS mapping systems
- Manage hazardous waste disposal protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5+ years regulatory compliance experience
- Valid Kentucky Environmental Specialist certification
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software and data analytics
- Demonstrated project management success
- Strong knowledge of EPA/KyDAP regulations
