Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive environmental compliance inspections and investigations for industrial facilities
- Analyze environmental data to identify pollution trends and recommend mitigation strategies
- Develop and implement pollution prevention programs for local businesses and municipalities
- Prepare detailed technical reports and enforcement documentation
- Coordinate with local agencies on environmental emergency response protocols
- Provide environmental education and outreach to community stakeholders
- Stay current with federal and state environmental regulations (TCEP, RCRA, Clean Air Act)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of environmental regulatory compliance experience
- Valid Texas Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Environmental Professional (REP) certification
- Proficiency in environmental data analysis software (e.g., GIS, ENVI)
- Strong knowledge of EPA and TCEQ regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in field and office environments
- Texas driver's license with clean driving record
